RE: 3,200 Miles and My 1st Problem?
I took my car in and had it serviced for 3 TSBs at one time. I ended up with a new fuel pump, new ring and pinion, and new clutch pack all in one day.

I like your dealer........ I took mine to the dealer and the first thing he told me is it was my fault. OBTW, the problem I'm talking about was the tint scratching on the inside. The dealer installed the tint and refused to take care of the problem....NICE![:@]

RE: 3,200 Miles and My 1st Problem?
The 06-12-11 TSB is the same as the earlier TSB, but also applicable to '06 GT's with the 8.8" rearends.
I took mine in today (2006), gave them the TSB number, they looked it up, said "yep," had the part (clutch pack) in stock, and left the car. About 4 hours later I got the call that it was ready to go. The noise is gone and the car was returned to me in the same pristine shape that I dropped it off (Kip Kilmon Ford in Vienna VA).
A good day in warrantyland.

Did any of you guys get any grief about switching out rear springs? I'm having the same problem, but I have Roush rears and don't really want to have to swap them back before I take it in.

RE: 3,200 Miles and My 1st Problem?
I have an 06' Mustang V8 with this same Clutch pack problem.
The first time, I took it in with the TSB, they ignored the TSB and just lubed it and sent me on my way, first road trip I went on the noise returned.
Second Trip, they actually followed the TSB from what I can tell from the work order. First time I took it up on the freeway and got it up to speed and then made a low speed turn the sound was back again.
So now I have to take it in again.... I am not confident they are going to be able to fix it, I have recieved extremely bad service from my dealer. How dangerous is the total failure of this part and is it likely? Should I risk it breaking twice more before envoking lemon?
Oh and in my case the noise is VERY loud (Ford calls it a growl, I call it a mettalic grinding from the rear end), people stare when I make low speed turns, and people in the car ask wtf was that?

its the clutch packs. my car sounded the same way before they were replaced. 8k since then as so far so good, it will prolly get just out of warranty and then puke.
