Just do all you can to fit it Before you paint it. Be sure it sits down on the hood all the way. Those front legs dangling in the breese arent only ugly, but could catch on something with disastrous results!

VERY EASY TO INSTALL, DRILLING DID NOT CRACK THE HOOD, THE HARDEST PART WAS THE FASTENERS ON THE HOOD BLANKET..
HERE ARE SOME PICS OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT AND SOME PICS OF THE HOOD PREP, THE PIC OF THE TEMPLETE IS AFTER I PULLED IT OFF AND OBVIOUSLY NEEDS TO BE MORE FLUSH TO GET THE HOLES LINED UP PERFECTLY.

From your 7 holes pic.. the hood kind of looks like it was made for the car.. lol

yea really, I guess ford made the hood that way so roush could mount their hood scoops without any problems. notice on the second set of holes in the middle, there is a notch on both sides so that you wouldnt have any problem drilling......

ANYBODY have pics of the scoop on the car ( WITHOUT stipes on your car )
I was thinking about getting the stripes LATER.. and don't know if it will
look FUNNY without stripes..!!!
