Default Rev faster?

Is it possible to make our cars rev up rpms faster? Im not talking about the throttle lag because my tune fixed that, but I mean like.. once I push the pedal to the floor it seems like it takes a like 4-5 seconds to get to 5-6k rpms. Is there anyway to cut that time down?

Not sure if Im explaining it clearly, let me know if Im not.

Pulleys might help. Also a short shifter will decrease the RPMs you lose when shifting.

Any mod that will reduce the rotating mass weight.Use U/D pullies, aluminum D/S,& an aluminum flywheel & that should alow you to get to the 6000 mark a little faster!

also once heads and cams become more feasible for our cars, those should help quite a bit too. But yeah for now, new driveshaft, ud pulleys help, and a new flywheel.
