I would research the lemon laws in your state, you may be able to get a full refund or an equal value trade.

minus mods

And yeah these things sure are addicting. Its almost like having a kid and when they spill wine on your brand new carpet you just get SO pissed you want to throw them out the door, but shortly after youre just "Aw.. thats my baby"

...Not that I have kids or anything just.. hypothetical..

can anyone post that TSB for the fuel pump? Im having major hesitation on my 06' GT at stop lights. Its a 2-3 second hesitation before I take off & sometimes even bucks on me. Its been like that since day one but I didnt think anything of it until I saw that there is a TSB out for it. It doesnt happen all the time,...its getting more frequent though,...

Thanks

This isn't anywhere close to qualifying for that statute in ANY state. I've done research on this when I first got my car back in 1999 and my wifes old Hyndai Elantra when it was new. (got rid of that POS quick)

They basically boil down to three scenarios.

Cost of repair is equal or more than replacement cost of vehicle. - Rare unless the dealer blows it up
Number of days vehicle has been out of service. It's like 30 days in a year or 6 month period
Number of times vehicle has been into service for IDENTICAL repair. (AT LEAST 3)

some states vary the statute of limitations on how many days in a certain period it has to be or the number of repairs. Some states are 4 times or more....

That's why I said research for his state. Here in Texas its four times for the same problem. If his car has been in seven times a few of those are bound to be for the same thing.

What a nightmare BackinBlack! So sorry to hear you had issues getting that TSB done. My dealer's service department DID NOT drop the fuel tank when they replaced the pump on my car.

Thats just throttle lag, not the problem in the TSB
