Shelby GT-H in Ohio!
Flew to Cleveland to take the kids to ride roller coasters at Cedar Point, which if you haven't been is an awesome place if you like coasters! Anyway, my son loves cars, so I reserved a GT-H for a surprise! They were only available in California, Florida, Nevada, etc., but were not renting too well so they had 2 sent to Cleveland. Pretty cool way to trek to a theme park and talk about a real head turner. We got a kick out of watching all the people checking out the car, it's a real magnet!
We have an '06 GT stick, so driving the auto was a new experience. I do like the convienence of not having to shift, but I wasn't impressed with the shifting and lag. Also had a couple times where the rev limiter kicked in before it shifted, that was strange? I don't have mine lowered, so the GT-H handling was tighter and it bucked more, but I liked it overall! The Hertz guys say that some people bring them back early and complain of it being too loud. I just have axle back flo's and mine is louder, so we all thought that was funny! They have a pretty elaborate check in/out procedure for the GT-H to make sure nothing is removed and yes the traction control is locked out, but it was a great surprise for my son and the most fun rental I've ever had. Here are some pics!

RE: Shelby GT-H in Ohio!
Cool, nice way to roll into the Point.
These cars, and I'm not talking about the Shelby, they just turn heads everywhere.
I took mine a few weeks ago when I went to Cedar Point and people were breakin their necks turning to check it out.
You are right about that park, it is awesome.
I've been going since I was a kid , every summer religiously.
