I just purchased a Vista Blue GT w/ parchment convertible top. I noticed the convertible boot is black, and thought it should be parchment-colored to match the top/interior. I probably won't be using it all that often as it is kind of a pain in the butt putting on / off / storing it.

Does anyone know of the color situation (i.e., should i have gotten a parchment-colored boot)???

Mine's black, but so's the top.

black is the only color they come in.

Black is what we all get. I didn't think it was all that much of a problem using it, and for days when the top stayed down a long time, it was a nice touch. But the majority of the time I lowered/raised the top so many times per day that I chose not to use the boot...

I'm waiting for someone to produce a two piece hard cover (tonneau) so I can use that instead of the boot..which is still in its original wrapper.

I agree, it's not that hard to put on/off but if you are going to be driving the car and putting the top up/down, it is a bit of an inconvenience. I too leave it off for those days. I'm thinking of getting a california top for those days so I can leave the top down with the boot on.
