Default Clear Rear Marker Lenses- Need Instructions

Anyone replaced these lenses yet? If so, would you mind posting some directions on the proper method for removing the factory lense? I haven't crawled under the car yet to check the rear of the lense, but I would assume someone has, and they could save us all a few headaches.............[sm=headbang.gif]

Thanks.

Don't worry, I'm just takin' a look and see what she looks like with the clears. If it looks ricey, I'll just pull 'em off and sell 'em on Ebay. These are side markers (the ones at the bottom of the bumper), not tailights. I wouldn't do that to my car. I just think those red markers are out of place there with the charcoal and white theme.

You may have a point, we'll see in a few days.

Why go with white or clear? Remove the whole thing, weld in a piece of metal and repaint. I don't think there is a law saying you have to have the rear side marker lights.

Mmmmmmm...... Interesting concept. I may have to give that one some research. Since I've already purchased the clears, I'll do so afterward if I don't like the look.

They will look good bro. I'm awaiting a set to be delivered to me so im curious how its installed too. And the rear bumper is plastic so welding it up may prove to be rather amusing haha.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to catch that. A good body guy can seal that up real good for you. There are only 4 bolts and a couple of screws holding that rear bumper in place. Here is what it looks like without a bumper.

Well, duuuuhhhhh!!!! I guess it could be "JB Welded".....????????????

I sure hope you don't have to take the bumper cover off to get to the screws.
