I second the motion. Where does a fella find this thing? I'm OK with tools, but get a little cowardly with my toys. Bolt on operation? NO drilling? I HATE drilling my toys. How many greenbacks?

Thanks

Where did you pick it up at? Cost?
whoops sorry guys, I got mine through lethal Performance for about $350, but I'm hearing some have seen it on other sites for about $300. http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...maf-satin.html

I got mine through D'Agostino Racing, another vendor on this forum. I got it yesterday (August 16th), but it was a missing a couple of parts (breather hose and wiring harness). I sent an email to D'Agostino's customer service, and Derek got back to me first thing this morning. He told me that the intake shipped direcly from Granatelli (which I had assumed), and that he would call them as soon as they opened. He just got back to me, and told me that the parts will be shipped out today, and that Granatelli will be giving me a courtesy call just to make sure everything is okay. So I just wanted to give Kudos to Derek and everyone else at D'Agostino Racing for great customer service!

BTW, they have it for $305...

NO! Are you crazy? The flux capacitor is completely different, and they both require different blinker fluid as well. Also, the rudder control on the 05's won't allow for proper movement of the power bands with this intake installed.

J/K! Yes, it will work on an 05...

No no no, you can keep the Mr. Fuzion. Just make sure you only feed it high carb foods. These cars love carbs!

I guess I'll chime in here too. I recently purchased and installed my GMS CAI and I also got their throttle body. Yes, the instructions are not that great. Yes you need the wiring harness, and the longer breather hose. Could there be a little bit better QC, probably, but also remember that this is a relatively new unit. There have been some heated discussions on another forum I frequent with regards to GMS and their products, but I can tell you about their CAI, because I use this product. It does everything it says it does. Your engine will growl if you get this CAI, if you have it you know what I mean. I haven't dyno'd my car, but do I believe it is putting down numbers somewhere around what JR has been posting, yes definitely. If you are in the market for a CAI, and if you especially don't want to take a chance with your warranty, then buy this CAI. You don't have to retune your factory comp with this CAI, as it comes with its own calibrated MAS designed specifically to work with the intake tube.
