Getting to the 12's?
So Tuesday night i went to the track for the second time with my car. The first time i got a best of 13.68 and this time i got a 13.48. What do you guys think i will get out of these 3 mods- BMR lower control arms, Steeda underdrive pullys, and 3.73 gears. All i have done so far is a cold air intake and tune.

Getting in the twelves in these cars is a forced induction topic. You need to be pushing about 420 crank at the weight of these cars and the aerodynamics of the brick front end. My vette is in the 12's but it weighs 3187 lbs and has 400+ crank.

First of all im not talking about 12 flat ill be happy with 12.99. I find that very hard to believe. From everything i have heard and experienced if you drop your 60' 1 10th you lose 2 10ths on your et. You dont think with 3.73's and lower control arms i can drop my 60' at least 2 10th's? Plus ive seen many of N/a 2005+ in the 12's

Your saying a stock GT with tires, gets into the twelves. What king of GT are you talking about.

I'm sorry your lighter more powerful Vette isn't faster? Not sure what else to say. 400+hp in a light car is 11's territory, I've seen plenty of Vette's doing it. But then. 2 nights ago I saw a 2000 Vette only running 14's, we know it's faster, but not with that guy driving.
