How many owners over age 50 keeping car totally stock?
I am age 50, first mustang (GT, manual, redfire clearcoat) and have contemplated some minor mods. But, experience tells me to keep it totally stock for resale. I would love to hear from anyone with an opinion on this issue.

Well I'm 51 and just got my GT/CS yesterday so it's still stock but I'll probably leave it that way for the warrenty issues plus it already looks good and is the fastest thing I have every drove.

48 here with an '06 GT - Torch Red. I would like to keep it stock but the throttle lag is killing me. A tuner and tune are in my future to eliminate the lag, but that will be it. This car is a keeper in my book. I am not looking at the resale, just enjoy it the way it is.

Resale/value and warranty are big issues with me too . . . besides getting the wife to go along with spending more money on a car that looks and runs great!

I am considering adding a supercharger, CAI and tune after warranty but have to weigh that against who would be interested in the vehicle down the line, should I decide to part with it down the line. I suspect that most folks buying a pre-owned muscle car would be a little leary of how hard the car was driven. For some reason, I find that people tend to trust that older drivers are more mature in their driving habits! [:@]

I’ll be putting on a Whipple, when it finally comes out, as well as converter, 3.73 gears, Detroit true-trac and L/T headers. I already have Steeda springs, Tokico D-Spec struts, Corsa axel backs and tunes from Doug. I’m not worried about resale value or warranty issues.
