Today I read in the Post and Courier from Charleston, South Carolina that there are 50,000 people who have ordered one but only 7000 to 8000 being made. No wonder Ford is in trouble. You think they could at least make 20,000 of them. I'm still waiting for a Shelby or Boss or Mach 1 with 400 horsepower. ********.[:@]

If you are talking about the GT500 they are making 9,000 a year for at least 3 years if not more... 50,000 people have not ordered the car either...

I can't believe only 17 hours left and no bids. How shocking.........NOT.

I truly hope that people let the buyers hype die on these cars pretty quickly. Would be nice for a normal person to be able to afford one.
Remember those $250K Ford GTs that dealers still have sitting on their showroom and now want $160k for?

What a rip!!!!

Oh yeah, and I've seen the GT selling for $200k used here in Cali!
"Oh honey, we need to take a second mortgage out so I can buy a new Ford GT and sell it in California." $40K profit and driving cross-country in a Ford GT. Can somebody remind me of the downside here? [&:]

Arbitrage[sm=icon_rock.gif] (sorry[8D] I don't know what that was - there is no way to make arbitrage cool)...

I am just wondering what is wrong with the air and/or water in Cali that any time someone says "No one in their right mind would do X", someone replies "What? They do X and then some all the time in Cali!"?

Then I realized there is no air or water in Cali! - ahh, I see

Time for a big earthquake - I am sure there are some very nice people in Cali - I used to live there and I have some family there, but it seems to be one big Nut Magnet...

Oh well, we are all stocked up on nuts up here too, but our nuts seem to know better than to pay 200K for that car...
