Default What's the point of FRPP

I understand that all their parts are cheaper and we're not paying for a "brand name" per say. I love FRPP don't get me wrong, especially when my FRPP stingers were 200 bucks less than the ones with Borla's name on it for the same dam thing. But what is the point of all this, and why would companies want ford to sell their products for so much cheaper ? If you we're an aftermarket company wouldn't you want to compete with FRPP?? I guess I'm just confused as to the purpose of FRPP and why their named brand parts with their stamp are so much cheaper ?

I'm sure ford gives them a payout for putting their name on the products....

Some folks will by nothing but Borla. So those sales won't be affected by the same product being labeled Ford racing. Me, I prefer to pay less and since I'm a Ford fan, the fact that the tips say Ford Racing makes it all the better for me. Its like refrigerators. Theres actually about four factories that make refrigerators. They just slap nameplates opn them and folks think they are getting a Maytag, Whirlpool, etc.
