What is this for?

I was searching on Ebay, and saw a picture of this.... its on the map lights... I have no clue what its for....

i think its the motion sensor for the alarm

that is the motion sensor for the active alarm, there is one on each side.

LOL,

that happened to me on more then 1 occasion.

i always forget that i lock my car while leaving the windows down and i go to grab something and it goes off lol
