Well ... I've had it for two weeks and now that the stripes are on it was time for a wax. According to the door sticker it had a build date of November 2005 so it has been sitting on a dealer lot in Georgia for a long time. I used a clay bar to remove the last 9 months of whatever may have been on the paint and then wax with Magiers Paste ... I went over the stripes as well and now they look like they are painted on ...

Since I have two classic Fords in my Garage the Mustang will be stored outside. I plan on clay and wax every three months to keep it looking like new ...

Thanks alot. I love those boss stripes... you going to leave it at that or go down the sides with them later on?

Personally ... I don't feel the body lines on the 05/07 Mustangs look good with stripes so I am going to leave it plain ... I have a set of Yellow GT take-off skirts coming tomorrow and 1/4 window louvers in the paint shop. I'm considering some Cobra emblems for the Fenders but other than those things the sides are complete.
