Pre-05 sound on an 05-07?
This may seem like a stupid idea but, I love the sound of the stock pre 05' mustangs way better than most aftermarket exhaust systems.
What current after market exhaust kits for the 05-07 sound closest to the stock pre-2005's? I realize they increased the size of the pipes to 2.5 in. so the older ones will not fit correctly and they will probably restrict flow and hinder performance but I thought I'd ask about how to get close to that sound. I don't have a lot of experience listening to all the exhaust kits side by side to decide and there are so many out there now that I'd like some help from you guys (and gals).
Who makes the stock mufflers for the pre-05's?
Corsa, Flowmaster, Borla, Magnaflow, SLP, Bassani???????
