Default That old fashioned "clackety-clack"!

Before I forget, allow me to post now the one thing that so far I have not caught anyone mentioning when speaking of the things they love about the '05/'06 'stangs and the retro touches: The clackety-clack of the turn signals! I remember that from when I was a kid! Yes.. I am old... well.. not really.. but old enough.. lol [8D]

Today's cars are all "whisper electronic tones... ding... ding... ding....."

Some people have complained about how it sounds, but I'm guessing Ford made it loud like that so you can hear it in the verts with the top down. I like the sound, it does sound retro like you say

Yup - that's the first thing my wife noticed on our first drive. She hates it - says it reminds her of the Torino we had in '72.

It sounds just perfect to me.

The funny part is... ... ... ... the Click Click is electronicly reproduced! - it is a sound bite!

lol.... no doubt, but at least it's reasonably authentic sounding. Aside from the nostalgia, I also like that it helps me to better remember to turn off my signal after using it for lane changes.

It's about time a car company put in turn signals you can actually hear: I don't know how many times in other vehicles I've driven that I've forgotten to turn off the turn signal because I didn't hear it. And I'm sure the people behind me weren't too happy either.

Is it coming out of the radio speakers or does it have it's own speakers?

it sounds like a snapple bottle when it first opens up you know the...CLICK! the safety thing...my friend noticed it about a month ago and he started screwing with me in the car. He bought a snapple at the gas station and would start clicking it back and forth with his thumb and i couldnt figure out why my turn signal sound kept going when it wasnt on. do it to your friends it sounds exactly the same.
