Well, could it have come with the hood? It looks like it's made to work with it.
Has anyone taken a look in the engine compartments of other newer cars, specificallythe Caddilacs or the new Lexus IS350? you can't see the engine blocks at all!
Personally, I would wonder if the molding might help with my hood swelling up when I get over 100MPH! And it would cover my stupid, dirty brake fluid res.
