Default Ice on the Windows??

I was wondering what happens to the windows if they get iced over[where they go down when the door opens up]. My friend's Mercedes has windows that go down and he says he cant even open the doors if they get iced over. I havent had my car through the winter yet and I was wondering if this happens on our car. Thanx

unlike bragging about their trucks, i dont have one and my stang is my only selection for driving and i have found a solution for it. Go to pep boys or o'rileys or some auto parts store and buy window de-icer. Comes in windex kinda bottle and its like 4 bux. spray it on the window and make sure it drips down into the bottom of the window because ice gets there too and wont allow the window to go down. also be patient! lol... good luck man, works for me

Why would this be an issue? Don't drive the car in winter.

I drove mine last winter and will every winter. Zero problems with the windows and the car has gotten iced over pretty good. Worse case scenario, when scraping the windows, carefully run the scraper right above the bottom edge of the window. Also, as mentioned above, window de-icer works well. But keep it in the trunk!!![&:]

I bought mine last year and I drove it all winter with a little ice problem. Just have a scraper with you and be careful when opening the doors. After you open at least one door, just warm the car up with the defroster/heater and they will work fine afterwards. Those heaters/defrosters work great. I can't drive with it on all the way, burns my eyes..hahaha..
