So tonight I was at dinner with my dad and some how we got to talking about his car, and so he goes on about how great of a car it is.Then im like ya its a great car but it couldnt hang with my car in a drag race. Then he said he could beat me on the track. Just curious, wut do u guys think would happen both on the track and drag strip. BTW both cars are fully stock(engine) ive got some apperance mods(see below) but thats it

I can't recall to much about the NSX but I do believe it carried a honda v-tech motor only pushing around 250 or so? I don't recall, and I am to lazy to look it up, but I don't think you will have a problem...

You should be able to take him in the 1/4, they're mid 14's I believe.

His car would eat you alive on a real track though, it wouldn't even be close.

The acura NSX was one of the first cars ever to be made of aluminum. It has a cult following, and has been relatively unchanged for years due to the fact it really was ahead of its time engineering. The fact the engine only produces 260 horses is irrelevent, based on the fact it has a 6 speed transmission, redlines at around 8000 rpms, with almost 290 lbs of torque at around 2200 rpms, and most importantly, the car weighs about 360 lbs less than our cars, (options and transmissions permitting). Oh and did i mention it has one of the more impressive downforce and drag coefficient ratios of any car built at that time, and is rivaled only by half a million dollar supercars these days? Honestly, i hate acuras....they are lifeless, and heritageless cars created for the soul purposes of marketability and reliability. Who can deny good mechanical engineering. The NSX, prior to 1994 was only capable of around 5 seconds flat 0-60....but the fact that it keeps the power all the way to around 180 miles an hour, is what im sure would determine the winner. The one nice thing about ur stang......you could have bought a GT, one in EACH of your 3 favorite colors for the price of that television on 4 wheels. Happy hunting.

they are light cars and he will give you a goood run. l say drivers race.. l saw STOCK LS1 vs STOCK NSX raced and they were dead even.. l hope this gives you an idea!
