Proper tire pressure is indicated on every tire. Am I missing something with this question?

Proper tire pressure per the automaker is listed on your driver door. You need to use the tire pressure listed there, not the pressure listed on the tire. You will get a much better ride and wear pattern if you fill them up to factory spec.

That's interesting as the Pirelli is listed as 51max psi so the question is what is the right psi for the car and that's where I see the door panel comes in (at 32). I'll buy that. Now that's for the tire size also specified on the door panel; you stray from that, now what is the correct pressure on your 18, 19, 20's? Something off of max pressure but how much.
Thanks for the tip on the automaker recommended pressure!

and backinblack... like i stated earlier i got new wheels which are not only a differnt size but also manufacturer. I figured the pressure would be different. The reason i was asking is because i already knew that the sticker in my jamb would be incorrect, but someone on here who owns a GT which came with these wheels woudl have a matching sticker. I dont mean to come off as an @$$ but you answered my question assuming my ignorance.

Sounds like we need someone with the OE 18's to tell us what the door jamb sticker says (unless it's in the manual; I haven't checked) I'm guessing you would run them at 28psi but that's just a guess. Could stop at a big dealership and check one out.

The pressure on the tire is the MAXIMUM inflation pressure for that tire. The 32/32 psi listed on the driver's door jam is the recommended pressure for these tires on this car. The recommended pressure takes into account optimal handling v.s. ride comfort that the Ford engineers found from many hours of testing. I run 32/32.
