Just some friendly advice.I would keep it Flat black thats how they all come from CDC.It looks good on a black car.The bottom of the chin will get rubbed from time to time parking blocks etc.and the paint will be scraped off the bottom. Here is what the Flat Black CDC chin looks like on a Black Stang.

the main reason it's getting painted is because i will be striping the car shortly after i get the chin spoiler on and i dont think textured black would look too good at that point. other than that, i agree with Go Blue 48044, just wish that i had a vert to offset the matte black in the front with the light bar in the back, but then there's that added weight... anyways
thanks for everyone's help

Gotcha makes sense.A friend of mine has a similar set up as myself and I noticed some scratches under his CDC chin.I asked him about it and he told me it was from the parking blocks etc.My first thought was how in the hell can't you remember to not pull up all the way.Until about a week ago when I jumped in my car at a 7-11 pushed down the clutch to start the car (5 speed man.) and the car rolled forward on it's own sloped parking lot or spot I guess and scratched mine up a little DOH!!!!

nice one, i've gotton myself into the habit of pulling the ebrake everytime i park and usually leave it in neutral unless i'm on a slope. maybe if i put a neon sticker on the center of my steering wheel , i'll remember lol
