Default Tokico D-specs. Clunking Noise?

I just installed the Tokico shocks and struts along with the Steeda sport springs, but whenever i hit a bump, there's a noticeably loud clunking noise coming from the struts. Is this normal, or do they just need to be broken in? Anyone else exprience similar problems? Other than that, the ride is excellent and was a fairly easy install.

That's not normal. Check and make sure your spring is seated properly.

Thanks for the input. I took off the strut and it turned out to be that little cover that protects the strut from getting dented and dirty. For some reason it didn't sit flush. Thanx!
