Which Is A Better Car For Me?

What is your current situation.... high school, college, or working. This makes a difference. A nice new mustang especially a GT is likely to get screwed with in a high school or college parking lot. Just something to consider.

"Starting" high school?! Wow. Unless you just have alot of money, get something used. Cheap. Save money, buy GT later. My first vehicle was a good ol' 89' Bronco II. I loved that thing and did alot in it and went everywhere. It was clean. I'll have to go back and find pictures. On a side note, years ago, I had a newer Corolla for about a month. HATED IT!!! Slowest cheap piece of crap ever!! The homeless bums outran me. Talk about could hear the wind blowing, it was like a go kart with a screen shield riding on the interstate. Also had a 88' Monte Carlo SS for about a month. Iron Sled. Slow, very slow. I was expecting some speed with the SS, but nope. Now if I had put some money into it, yeah, but it just wasn't worth it. Anyways, go cheap, save money, then go big.

I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but do not get a fast car for your first car. At the time I thought it sucked, but I'm now very glad that I had a civic as my first car. I was a pretty good driver in highschool, but that's relative. No matter how good you are, when you're 16, you're still just good for a 16 year old. About 4/5 guys at my school with fast cars crashed them because they were overconfident inexperienced drivers.
Seriously, pubescent testosterone will make you do stupid **** in a car, so you might as well get it out of your system in an econobox and have money left over to start saving for a faster car in the future when you're more experienced and responsible.
Just my thoughts. I know the temptation of getting a fast car is somewhat overwhelming at a young age though.
