Guys I still am not sure on which gears to get. I plan on supercharging my car in the long run at 9-12 psi. I am not sure on which gears will be better with the supercharger 3.73 or 4.10. I see alot of talk of 4.10 but some guys have told me that I will loose my 1st gear with the supercharger if I get the 4.10s. I have a 2005 gt 5 speed. Also does anyone know if the gt500 uses the same motor mounts and the regular gt?

with a blower I would stick with the 3.55's
4.10's will make first gear useless. with traction issues you will spin like crazy and waste all the power that the blower makes. The 3.55's will keep you in the powerband longer.
05-06 GT manuals come with 3.55's
07 - up GT's come with 3.31's
for the guy that said these are mustangs, not f-body cars - i said FOX BODY CARS as in 1979-1993 MUSTANGS. learn some mustang history. these arent the first ones
do it right - go with factory ford parts and have them installed at the dealer - they will be warrantied for 1 year/12000 miles. Joe Blow Racing Shop wont give you that

Garbage, and not true...!!! I have a daily driver (N/A) and do about 80 miles per day (65% highway 35% city). The FRPP 4:10 gears (part # M-4209-G410A) are great and are definately the way to go with a 5 speed. My Tach shows a very reasonable 2425 rpm's in 5th gear going 70 mph on the highway. You will be fine with 4:10's...!!!
I drove my car around some with the OD off and it was doing around 2900rpm at 70mph. Didn't like it at all. Sounded high pitched and you could hear the engine over the exhaust.
