I picked up my Redfire '06 GT, 5 speed last night. It has the polished aluminum wheels and the interior upgrade package that I REALLY like and a bunch of other accessories that I could do without, but it was one of about 5 manual, 06's left on the lots in the DFW area. It listed at 29,050, and I paid 26,726 which was a little below invoice.
I would have held off buying the car except for the 0%/72. Anytime I can use someone elses money for 6 years, I'M IN!
Now I just have to start saving my lunch money for the stiff rear sway bar and 4.10's.

Yours has the same options and MSRP as the tungsten I am going to buy tommorow, my MSRP is 29,050 except the invoice in my area is a little lower @ 26,657, and I'll be using my employer sponsor Xplan price ; I have certainly never been in bankruptcy or repossesion so I think I'll have no problems with 0% 72 month financing. I can afford to put 3,000 down if they need encouragement on the 0% otherwise O am walking out and I'll wait until the end of the month or just order an 07 deluxe manual stripped down. But if the deal works the way I want and I think it will my payments will be 328.47 a month, or even at 500 over invoice it is still 335.41 a month. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope to by my first new car-at 38 I think I deserve it!!

Or did you take the 1,500 dollar rebate? and have no taxes because of the trade in?
I would just like more details b/c my OTD price was 27,250. And that was the best deal out of 7 dealers.

RE: What kind of deals are people getting on 06 Mustang GT's
Did you guys who bought recently get any paperwork or a warranty card of any kind on the 5 YEAR 60,000 MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY ? I got home and noticed I had nothing on it, though they clearly said I got it. I emailed the sales guy and he said it was in the computer. I printed out the info from the ford.com, and saved the email, but I would feel better if I had something in else writing. What did you guys get?
Thanks

+1
That's what I was told as well....no need for extended warranty(at least in my case) I'll probably get an '09(when they're supposed to be updated)...[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]

Well the one I was interested in got sold, I was only considering the 06's because of the 0% interest-but when I first started looking a few months ago- I was only shopping for 07's to order. This 06 was pretty heavily loaded up and it had the 18" polished bullets-a little too flashy-. The salesman said 0% finaincing probably won't come back until this time next year on 07's. I didnt like being pushed up against a deadline either. There are going to be 07's comming in every day now going forward so....
