Parking Brake Handle Replacement

Has anyone replaced their parking brake handle? Would love something that doesn't jut out of the console but is more flush. If so, what did you use? was it hard to do?

Thanks.

I would also be very interested in a handle replacment. If anyone has done this please let us know where you got the part and how difficult it was to install.

RE: Parking Brake Handle Replacement

I replaced mine with a Shelby unit. The Shelby piece has the same arm as stock, but the grip is stitched leather instead of the foam on the stock arm. The stitched leather matches the Premier Trim Package stitched parts quite nicely. It's a somewhat involved replacement, about the same as replacing a shifter. You have to remove the upper and lower consoles to get to the assembly, you also have to jack the car up to get to the brake cables.
