Well.... I thought my dealer would get me a Vista blue GT with the flat spoke 18" wheels.....he couldn't locate one after taking
a $500.00 deposit to 'find' one. Well, I went on a search rampage and found a Tungsten Grey Premium GT with Charcoal leather, side airbags, upgraded interior...with MyColor instruments and polished 18" bullits and picked it up for $500.00 over invoice($26,400)
about $3500.00 off! My payments with gap insurance, a service plan(oil changes, tire rotations for 3 years, first brake pad service, 15 and 30K servicing) are $456.00 about $3.50 more than the '05 a month, with ZERO down. I couldn't be happier.. the car looks awesome and has the carbon fiber dash cover(looks way better than the silver face). Goes to show, never take NO or we CAN'T for an answer.......hope everyone else who's interested has as good a luck! BTW, yes I got my $500.00 deposit back!

u can use X plan and any otehr incentitves they are giving for 0%. except the 1500 cash back. BUT ford sent me a $500 gift certificate and i was able to use that with the $500 student discount or first time buyer incentive. I couldnt use the gift certificate or first time buyer/student with the X-plan though. It came out to be cheaper without x-plan anyway.

For those of you that traded an '05 GT for an '06 GT, do you notice a BIG difference in the refinement of the '06? My GT had 22,000
very easy miles on it(mainly freeway) in the 18 months I owned it, yeah I raced a couple of times(okay maybe a dozen or so) but
mostly I behaved....... I'm noticing that the '06 is much quieter on start up, doesn't have tranny gear noise, and my dash doesn't rattle in cold weather(or when A/C is on). Feels like car has more insulation too. Maybe the 18" wheels with B.F. Goodrich tires contribute to the smoothness(???) Anyhow, I was just curious because I would've remembered if the '05 was as smooth upon
buying it last year and if anyone has noticed a difference. BTW my car was built 5/06(very late in '06 build year), also I noticed
the tabs that hold the trunk trim in place has a different design(has a twist head on tab-probably to prevent popping loose like my
'05 seem to do quite often). They do say the first year of any completely new car is the worst year to buy......well the 0% for 72mo.
cured that for me!

I am purchasing an '06 GT convertable with a manual for 0% and I'm getting the car at invoice. It is being delivered to my local dealer tomorrow. My fiance can't believe that I'm purchasing a car. I just bought an '06 Civic SI 4 months ago, that I've got to unload. 'Stang is more fun.

Just divide the cost of the car by 72. This will give the payment amount. By the way $400.00 x 72 = 28,800.00. So if your out the door cost is < = 28,800.00 then your payments will be less than $400.00.

Just got my GT Conv Manual on Friday with 0%!

I was already looking at them, had my dealer searching for one (they didn't have any convertibles, and all other close dealers only had automatics) and the 0% deal hit.

Most dealers refused to do the dealer transfer since they started selling at sticker. My dealer already told me they would give it to me for a couple hundred over invoice (This is the 4th vehicle I purchased from them) ...they found 1 dealer in NC that had 5, but refused to transfer...they had 3 of them sold later that day at sticker. Perserverence pays off though....my dealer came through....got a great price plus 0%!

If you are thinking of getting one...do it QUICK...they are going like hotcakes, that is for sure.

I got my 06 4.6 5 speed yesterday, 0% was too good to pass up. I searched all of Florida, only found 3 5 speed GTs, on in Miami, one in Tampa and one by my house in lauderdale.

Wow, seems like a lot of people are jumping all over the 6-year loans... Just bought an 06 V6 3 months ago, and it sounds very tempting, but the extra year of payments kills it for me. Plus seeing as I'm only 22, insurance would probably jump up a bit as well. Oh well, 3 years from now I should be in good position to trade up to the 09's. That is, if I could deal with trading in my first Pony... [:-]
