so i'm buying a mustang.......
hey guys, i'm gonna buy a 06-07 mustang GT convertible, heres my dilemma, do i buy the 07 i took for a test drive that was 40 thousand, or buy a 06 with 2 thousand km with same options cept hood scoop, and heated seats for 33? i have 20 to put down as a down payment, but i may have to take half of that for insurance.... that brings me to my next question. hows your insurance rates, i'm 20 years old with a few tickets under my belt. how could i regain some of my demerits and get back to having a good drivers abstract? theres zero car accidents on file its just 3 tickets. also, if you were to to it all over again what would you have done different? any help you can give me will be great, also leasing isnt a option. i'ma mod this **** outta this thing!

What are the interest rates? If all is the same id buy the used car... if interest is higher on the used car you payments might be lower going with the new.... as far as fixing your driving record, that's simple.... start driving better....

You probably should ask your driver's liscense testing place if there is a way to get rid of the ticket record. In one state I remember they would drop em if you took a special drivers class.

you sound canadian with you talk of kilometers LOL.
I am in Ontario and the tickets stay on your abstract for three years from the date of conviction. It may be slightly different from privince to province.
The only way out is time, but I can tell you from experience that if you get any more tickets before those three come off, you won't even be able to afford insurance at all.
Trust me. I found out the hard way [&o]

That's a nice idea until you are the one totalling it, or they find out you are driving it primarily, because somehow insurance companies do find out one way or another. Don’t ask me how.
Be smart, and keep it in your name. If you have the bank for a stang like that, you have the bank for insurance.
