I found a wax that leaves no white residue. It's called Turtle Wax Platinum Series Ultra Gloss Liquid Wax. I was really impressed with the shine. And yes, black shows everything. I feel like carrying a shammy in my glove box. [sm=shades.gif]

You want a HUGE TIP on washing? Do this.
Go to AutoZone or something like that and get the Mr. Clean Autodry system.
I have a black 06 GT and washing was a bi tch to say the least.
spots, swirling , you name it.
I heard about this thing on a t.v. show and went and reluctantly bought it.
It was about 40 bucks.
I thought I was wasting my cash.
But I was wrong.. I can wash my car in about 15 min and it has NO SPOTS or swirls or ANYTHING. The product has a filter on it that cleans the water.. after you wash it you go over it with the filtered water and it dries by ITSELF leaving nothing but shine.
The only parts I have to take a towel to is on the side doors below the mirrors, and on the back by the GT sign where it kinda leaves a mark from the fin and its one swipe really.
Washing a black car is hell.. but this freakin thing made it so easy for me.
Get it!
Oh PS.. you also dont have to worry about scratching the car when drying it.
I managed to scratch mine with a freakin MICROFIBER towel right before I got the Mr clean.
Luckily my bro works at a dealership and they buffed it out for free.
Anyways.. Trust me you wont regret getting this thing.

I also use the Mr. clean system, but I use my own soap instead of the one that they give with the system. The replacement filters can get a little expensive too if you wash your car 3 times a week
