Default RE: Photoshop Please!!!

Its pretty easy. for this one, I just cut out a red mustang with about the same angle in the photo, then attach it to the photo I want to mod and make size and other adjustments to make it match the best I could. The only reason I did the cutout is because the color of the original car makes it hard to change to other colors. But, if its a color with saturation, like red, blue, green, orange, etc, its easy. When I do those, I just change the hue of the entire photo until I get the car to the color I want, then I just use the history brush to color everthing except the car. Check out the photos to see what I am talking about. Theres also a lowered version of the red mustang, with tint added also. Those wheels will look nice on you car man.

Isn't there a way to select the body of the car and then sample a color from a photo and apply that color to the selection? I really should have finished that PS class online!

yeah, you can do that, but it wont look right because the body has all of the reflections and shadows, all of those will have to be adjusted to match, and it will be hard to make it look right.

I think it you can find it for $700 at a store, or for $0 on the internet.

+1 for Photoshop Elements, forgot about that one lol. It'll let you do pretty much what you would want to do to a car. There's also GIMP, which I heard was freeware. You should be able to do basic stuff with either.
