Default new brakes at 4k?!

I only have 4k on my 06 GT and my brakes have been squeeling when I stop everytime for the last 2 weeks. Does this mean i need new brakes already?

no after 4k you don't need new brakes unless you have been running at a track hard (real track not 1/4 mile). What you probably need is an adjustment, or there may some rust somewhere that's causing the squeel. Take it in and have someone look at it.

No, I dont do any kind of racing. I would think they would have some kind of warranty with just 4k on them.

Brakes are not covered under warranty.
Most likely what has happened is you have been hard on the brakes and they have become heated and in tunr have gotten glazed. It is a very common thing and most people think the problem is the brake when in fact it is there driving style that creates the problem. Most people will say they are not hard on there brakes but one look at the rotors and pads tells all.

My rear pads occasionaly squealed like a **** and i always got a driveline clunk in the rear when braking. Of course, when i took it to the dealership they never found a problem. After 3 trips to the dealership they traced it back to the rear pads, installed new ones and its been silence since.

Take your car back and have them look at it.
