you have to reset the computer... it will stay around there forever if you dont.

Once you reset it , you will be pleasently surprised.



When you are truly wondering what MPG your getting.... try to remember to reset it then let the computer hash it out for a couple minutes.... Then you'll get a reading thats actually close to accurate.

Exactly, if you don't it will read like that lol. With my mods I was averaging like 27.5 on the highway running about 75-80 over about 100 miles. I was pretty happy.

I'm doing an average about about 14.7 MPG.. so your not the worst one here.

My local (combined) average is 15-16. I sit in a lot of traffic.

On a pure 55-60 mph highway run my computer says I average 27-28 (manual trans). On a more "regular" highway run I get around 24-25.

My other cars are a Suburban and a 400 hp V8 equipped caddy. The mustang GT is my economy car.

your MPG window is approximately 18-22, use good quality gas.

i didnt read any of the post but...

thats nothing, i work for a mercedes dealer now, and i drive a ml350 shuttle, even though its rated at about 16/20ish it averages only about 14 on the HIGHWAY !!!! and i dont even drive it that fast becouse im always driving around old people.
and its a v6 ...
