Default Amp Power Wire Placement

Has anyone run an amp power wire from the trunk of an '06 mustang to the battery? Im trying to figure out if there is a way using an existing hole in the firewall without having to drill a new hole. Any suggestions/pictures would be greatly appreciated

If you remove the front right wheel and then remove the plastic cover piece in the wheel well you will see a big bundle of cables running into the car interior through a 4-5 inch rubber grommet. There is a little rubber nipple looking thing sticking out of the grommet. Cut it off and it is a perfect fit to run a 4gauge power cable through. You can then run it through to the engine bay through a hole near the top of the wheel well.

Thanks a bunch for the advice. I ordered the amp kit tonight and when it comes in Ill give it a go at installation! I am using the line out adapter from schose for factory radios with out pre amp outs. I want to keep the factory look until I get enough money for an aftermarket head unit. Any idea if this unit is any good?

Amp KIT? Ooooh be careful. Some of those kits really stiff ya. They'll claim 8guage cable but only be a 10g in reality. Take some calipers to those and make sure they didn't rip you off.

Unless you have enough juice to need 1/0 cable. Kinda hard to mistake that for 10g
