Default Working on the final touches - which black to use?

On Saturday I bought my windveil blue 06 GT. I already knew what was in store for it before I drove it home - a blacked out hood with hood scoop and a black spoiler. Now the real question is which black to go for? I've been going back and forth on it.

Which do you think would be better - glossy black or satin black? I'm guessing that the satin black would have a more textured look liek a sheet or something. I'm going with the Roush hood scoop (the car's a daily driver, so no function for me - maybe later on down the road). The black on the hood will go in a straight line from the edges of the grill up the hood. I have an idea of what the satin will look like on the hood, but not the spoiler.

I've also been thinking of going with a black chin spoiler too, but not right now.

Thanks in advance!

I think I would probably go with the satin black.

I don't know if a fully blacked out hood would look that nice. It would probably be better if you put a wide black stripe across the hood and kept a few inch gap along the side and front edges of the hood. I have seen this on a few stangs and it looked really good. IMO
Here is a link to a thread on the hood black out. 05blueGT has a good example of what I was talking about.

By all means, Satin.

I am glad that I can help Newbreed. Take a look at what I did at the bottom of that link. The first version was a decal from Graphics Express. The second one is painted on but is gloss. If you end up waxing a satin to help keep it from dulling, it will eventually turn gloss. Besides, trying to retape the hood to put on clear with a flattening agent would take a long time so we decided to just clear the whole hood.

I vote for gloss black, especially if you do a blackout panel that matches the spoiler. Keep both of those the same.....
