cruise control button and headlamp switch removal

Just wondering if anyone knows how to take off the cruise control buttons and the headlamp switch? When talking about the headlamp switch, I'm talking about taking it off of the part that pops out of the dash. The knob doesn't just pull off like the A/C control knobs do. I'm assuming it's becuase you pull it back to turn on the fog lights (or maybe it does and I'm just not pulling hard enough for a fear of breaking it? lol). Why you may ask? I'll post pics if I ever figure it out. Hehe
Thanks,
Pahelo

RE: cruise control button and headlamp switch removal

I can't answer your questions, but I do want to WARN you about the cruise control switch. Do NOT mess with the steering wheel in any way without disabling the air bag first! If you MUST remove the cruise control switch, find a factory manual and study it carefully.

Not only is the airbag expensive, it can injure or kill you. If you remove it altogethere, MAKE SURE that you store it with the padded side UP. If it were to go off it would not hurt anyone that way. If it is set down with the metal side up, it would be a VERY dangerous projectile as the bag inflates.

BE SAFE!
