Meanest Loudest sounding exhaust setup

RE: Meanest Loudest sounding exhaust setup
Running with no cats is illegal. We have a big performance shop here in OK and cut the mufflers off the new gt's and run just tips all the time. My 2005 has had no mufflers for about 6 months and I drive it back and forth to work everyday.

Menace, that may be your opinion but I think the fact that FRPP asked Borla to make their aftermarket exhaust justifies Borla having a great sound if not the best IMO.

Slp's with a pypes off road h-pipe. I set off car alarms all the time and make babies cry. I also give the occasional old person a heart attack.[sm=guilty.gif]

I didn't think the Borlas in themselves sounded outrageously loud but when I put on long tube headers w/ off road X pipe it was obnoxiously loud. For the first time I honestly didn't enjoy driving my car because I knew it was just a matter of time before I was going to get a ticket. I changed over to a catted X pipe ASAP and all I can say is it sounds awesomely powerful at every speed. Trust me the headers with catted X pipe and Borla stingers sound sweet. Forget all that raspyness bull**** everyone mentions concerning X pipes. It sounds deeper and much better balanced now than when I had the stock H pipe on.

For top quality and very impressive looking pipes try this combo: JBA Titanium Coated Long Tube Headers, JBA Stainless H-Pipe w/High-flow Cats and Ford Racing Stainless Cat-back exhaust. Its not cheap, but it rocks. Many members here seem to overlook the Ford Racing Cat-back exhaust. I have this exact system will be posting sound clips soon. It sounds incredible. The chrome tips on the back end are huge and look great with the engraved Ford Racing. I would investigate this advice. Go and see it on a mustang. You will love its looks and sound.
