I have the same ones, just be prepaired to paint the back sides because of over spray of primer & paint. My opinion is it will look terrible if it's unpainted. If people sit in the rear seats or when you back up you will have wished you had painted them. I posted a couple of weeks back about this. Color was a perfect match, the price is right (even @ 199.00) and the install was easy, Even for me.

Enjoy your ride,

Glenn

Thanks Glenn.

What color did you paint the inside of yours? I'm thinking black may be the best option and as it will be dark, a home paint job may be good enough?

Yes. Black is the way I went and at home is were I painted them. Sanded the back side with 400 grit sandpaper, cleaned, taped up the holes with blue painters tape, masked the good side with newspaper and added two coats of flat black with a light sanding between coats. Next day I placed the car in the sun, heated the louvers in an oven set to 115 degrees F, cleaned windows with 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol/water, lined them up, removed backing of tape and pressed them on running my thumb with pressure along the area were the tape is. This 3M tape is great , they can't be pulled off if applied right. Heating the Louvers & tape up I got from the 3M site and I am glad I did it, maybe overkill but I know their not coming off.

I hope this helped and good luck with the paint & install.

Please be sure to post pictures when completed.

Enjoy your ride,

Glenn

Is it really that noticeable if you don't paint the insides? I didn't even think about that. I was more concerned w/ how they look on the outside. That's a really good point to consider.

At first I didn't think about it as well but I emailed someone else on this forum before I purchased and he (Thanks dmhines) informed me of the over spray. At that point I was prepared and I asked a friend of mine a million questions about the best way to paint them until he was sick of me. Mine were speckled with paint in certain areas but not in all. I wish I took a picture before I painted but I couldn't wait to get them installed, maybe someone else who gets them could post. It really isn't that much trouble to paint them, I was able to do it without a problem and my skills with cars is limited.

Good luck.

Enjoy your ride,

Glenn

Painting the insides black is a great idea especially if you don't have dark dark tinted windows. I ordered the prepainted ones from Atlantamustang.com and they came with a black decal to go over the window before you put the louver on. Great idea too.
