Personally my favorite rims out their are either...chrome DD bullits.....or Enkei Kapones.... We almost got a set of those for my dads car but we didnt have the money or the car yet because it was still on order when we were looking at wheels

Does anyone have a defenative answer for the rim change in 05?

For anyone interested here is the reply from American racing about the hopster rims.

Thank you for your interest in American Racing! We can build the wheel to fit, but only in as small as an 18". The 17" does not clear the brake calipers. Pricing and ordering information can be obtained from any American Racing retail dealer near you. If you need assistance finding a local dealer, please use the Dealer Locator on our website:

I think Ford screwed us when they changed the rims, at the very least they limited us a lot since there were allready plenty of rims available for the older mustangs.

Didn't like either one but if I had to choose I would go with the first ones.

I like that new reverse deep dish look with the huge positive offset and attendant massive wheel lip. That look "cages" the brake calipers in 3 dimensions, which looks so kewl, although you can only do it with sufficiently large wheels at least 18" in diameter.

The first one isn't bad, but I like the 3rd one you posted best.

Don't like either on our cars, the first ones would probably look badass on like 67 Camaro though.

Doesn't matter that they are in Vintage Series or any series no matter the name. There was no rim that looked like this in the 60's or 70's either OE or aftermarket; so how can it be retro is my point.
