Rex,
I agree with you. The template that Roush supplies makes the install a piece of cake. I took my sweet *** time, and the whole thing took me about 2 hours, from hood liner out, to hood liner in....That includes the "measure 80 times, drill once" time lag.....

And, you are correct, definately turns more heads with the scoop.....

This Coupe is HOT!

Thanks guys, didn't realize there were so many options. Guess I'll have to check them out in person to decide which way to go. Do all the vendors offer them painted already?

Al
Excellent question....can one get the Roush scoop pre-painted?

OK I went to the Roush web page and answered my own question....and it is yes. For those of you who purchased the Roush scoop, is there more than one type available? The reason I ask is there was a reference to drilling when installing, but the Roush web page referes to double sided tape. Any insight?

The Roush hood scoop requires drilling 7 holes, and also uses 3M tape on part of the perimeter....

Non functional hood scoops is like driving around with a blow up doll in the passanger seat. It just doesn't look right.

I purchased a Roush hood scoop when my dealer told me Ford would delay delivery of my '07 because of parts shortage. Then my car came through with the factory scoop so I have a black Roush scoop for sale. I do like the factory scoop very much. It gives you a powerful, dramatic view over the hood when driving.

If your interested PM me for details.
