Exhaust & Tips-Need some input!

RE: Exhaust & Tips-Need some input!
Yeah, I'm running straight pipes back. My muffler shop just cut off the mufflers and welded on a short piece of 2 1/2" tubing, then welded the tips on. I'll see if I can get up under the tonight and get some pictures. Eventually I want to take the pipes off from the axle back, and grind the welds down a bit, and smooth it out. I have a friend who does polishing and grinding on the side...

The good thing about SLP is that you can visit their website and listen to sound clips of the SLP Axle-back LM's and they do sound awesome. Im certainly not going as loud as the set up I had on my 04 GT (BBK o/r x-pipe; Flowmaster 40s). Dont get me wrong, that car sound good as loud as it was and I love it, however, I just dont want that loud again on my new one. These body styles seem to scream out deep rumble, almost like old school glass packs! lol Maybe in a few years or so

I have the complete SLP install. Ceramic coated long tube headers, Catted X-Pipe, and SLP Loudmouths. It is very loud when you punch it and it sounds great if you're into loud. The headers are awesome! This setup added 25-30 HP, just as advertised. I highly recommend this setup.
