Before taking youor car to the dealer, return it to stock (including your intake of course) your evo tune stays in you SCT Xcal.
It doesn't matter if the dealer updates your pcm. The tuner will read that first before downloading your custom tune. At least that's what i've done for the second time now. If you're not sure, contact your tuner first before heading to the dealer. Good Luck

RE: HELP! RETURNED EVOLUTION TUNE TO STOCK...
Why take it to the dealer for a oil change??????????
Go to a lube shop and pay 16-20 $$$ and be done with it!!!!!!!!
Now go do something else with the time that it didnt take you to retune your car and take the intake off and then to put them back on..........
Just my 2 cents

RE: HELP! RETURNED EVOLUTION TUNE TO STOCK...
OK, no problems at the dealer...
I have gone over this in my head a few times, and I think maybe I caused the problem.
When I first received the tuner, I loaded the 87 tune. Then after reading how 91 would be more cost efficient, I loaded the 91 tune WITHOUT going back to stock.
Could this have caused the problem? If anything I would think the tuner would have just considered the 87 tune the stock tune.
I'm out of ideas at this point...

RE: HELP! RETURNED EVOLUTION TUNE TO STOCK...
I just had them change the oil, top off the fluids, rotate, oil and fuel addiditves.
I know I pay more going to the dealer, but it's next my office so it's convenient.
I'm going to email Evolution now and see what they think.

Well, here is Fred's reply. I guess once the tune is in, that's it.
----------
You can't return it to stock! Load the performance tune back in!
