No, the 06 GTs came with 3.55s with the Manual.

The 07 came with 3.27 (or was that 3.31? I can't remember) standard, with the 3.55 as an option for Manual trans only.

I'm contemplating b/w 3.73 or 4.10 + T-lock or truetrack for my V6 Manual...can't seem to get any concrete answers though so still don't know what to get (I do alot of highway and city driving)

I thought it was 3.31s standard and 3.55s as an option for the manuals? I guess they did this to try and beat the gas guzzler tax and still lost[]. I personallay don't see the mustang as a gas guzzler. If thats the case then every truck in the states should be hit with one cause even with 4.10s I still see 24-25 mpg on the hwy and city driving is unaffected. I drive 32 miles round trip to work everyday and I can last about a week on a tank of gas more or less.

It may well have been the 3.31 standard. I am not 100% on the ratio, but it is numerically lower than the 3.55.

Dragon, what answers do you want? The 3.73 is going to give you better mileage than the 4.10, but the 4.10 is going to give you more acceleration. Choose one!

4.10s You won't regret it. Very fun, very fast off the line. I'm getting a Kenne Bell Supercharger install next week and it should be awesome, from everything I have heard.

What about for a GT Automatic? I've heard 4.10's for automatics and 4.30's for the five speed manual...

3.73's in an automatic the equivalent of the 4.10's in a manual correct?

Yes, that's about right. 3.73 in the Auto is like 4.10 in the manual. 4.10 is like 4.30..and so on.

Most people with autos are choosing the 3.73. Though, you could choose other ratios if you wanted.

Sherwood, you REALLY REALLY REALLY need to get some suspension mods under your car. Do some searching around the forum, 4.10 + Blower is very hard to drive unless you have some suspension mods. I didn't see any in your sig...if that's the truth, you're going to be making a ton of tire smoke but othewise not going anywhere.
