Don't take this thread the wrong way............the struts are awesome, it was my mistake but easily corrected. If getting them have been on your mind, I'd say go for it. My only suggestion would be dont use the prop rod. I think thats to high and helps it slip a bit. only bring the hood half way up and prop it up at that point with something Mine was off just a hair and rather than force it to thread
