Which s/c have the loudest noise (engine wise)? The one that makes people go...DAMN! now that's a muscle car.

yesterday night i raced against a mach and this thing sounded beast,, and i told him what the hell is that and he told me full exhaust and supercharger.. he didnt tell me whcih one but that was the loudest supercharger i have ever seen!!!!

Not really into blower whine myself.

BUT I hear centrifugal blowers are pretty nasty sounding as are roots style blowers.

a centrifugal s/c is the loudest usually. I have had a procharger and vortech and everyone says the PC is louder but the vortech was way loud got more performance out of the PC though

The sound when you hear that turbo spool and and just unleash is awesome. SHooooooooowooooooooooooshh!!!!! I am a bigger fan of S/C's though.

Maybe it's not the loudest but I think the Saleen S/C sounds badass. But I've heard the Procharger F series is pretty loud, but I don't think they have a kit for the 3V GT. You may have to fab a kit yourself.

The Roush roots blower is completely silent except at WOT (or near WOT)..........and I like it that way. Even at WOT it is not too drastic, just a nice whistle to add a little music to the mufflers but not overpower the sound of the engine itself.

The noise level at idle was important enough to me that I insisted on hearing one before I bought one. Even with the hood open, you cannot hear it at idle. This makes for happy neighbors at 7:00 AM. It also makes for a sneaky little sleeper at stop lights.
