Default 3.55 Limited slip axle ratio

I was just wondering if anyone bought this upgrade when they got their mustang. It seems pretty cheap. Let me know if it is worth it.

Kinda sucks because on 2005 and 2006 it was standard on the GT, but now it is an option on the 2007. But anyway it is worth it if you are gonna keep your car stock and dont really plan on professional drag racing.

However if you plan on modding and racing alot, then dont bother and just go with after market gears later on.

If you think you're going to upgrade later on to 3.73 or 4.10, then don't bother. But if you doubt you'll ever upgrade than get the 3.55. I ordered it on mine.

If you have an '07 without the option, then you have 3.31 but it is still limited slip.

I ordered it on mine and it was worth it for me. I do a lot of freeway driving and do not want to go any lower in gearing than 3.55. But it drives a bit more sporty than the 3.31's did, so for me it's just right

I ordered the 3.55 too. Seemed worth it for the money. Chances are I'll eventually but 4.10s in there, but I couldn't stand the thought passing up on a sportier gear ratio for just 100 bucks factory installed.
