I saw a picture of a silver convertible in the wallpaper section that has CS on it. I am assuming this stands for California Special? Is this right and does anyone know what mods it has that are different than a stock GT?

Whatever you saw was not a Calfornia Special as it is not offered in silver. You can take your pick from White, Vista Blue, Black, or Redfire but not silver.

The CS package is a $1895 option on '07 GTs and includes (among other items) 18 inch polished wheels, different front and rear facias, side scoops and tape stripes, and two tone seats.

hmm, I saw one in black and you can barely see the black side stripe. They don't give it a different color.
Basically, it's just a different option package.
Not too bad, but I don't really dig the lower front facia where it's black. Looks and feels kinda cheap.

It looked silver in the picture (see wallpaper 2005+ section). I realize now it does not come in that color - I must just be getting old. Thanks.

There is also a CS6 from Shelby. It has a 350HP superchaged V6. It is one of the coolest looking mustangs I've seen.

I don't think any of those are "it".

I've seen a few cars around that have a CS on the fakey gas cap and where the GT should be. They are not GT/CS and they are not the CS6.

Dotbomb, those are them. On the fake gas cap, the GT is still there. But around it it says California Special. Considering also on the fading side stripe, it says, GT/CS.
