RE: NEW redesigned MUSTANG spotted!!!! Real thing
I am glad I am buying a 2007. If they were going for the retro look/facelift, why wouldn't they move past the '65-'69 look our cars have and take some styling ideas from the '70-'73 era-but stay away from the Mustang II.
I also thought about going with with the new Challenger, but knowing mopar they will not get the price down where it is affordable. Besides, I like the current Mustang look...

No i agree....I'm not saying that in 2009 or 10 or whenever the new garbage comes out that I'm getting rid of my car. I'm just saying that IF or WHEN, I want to get a new one, I'm just not sure I would get another mustang...... I love my baby, and I probly wont ever get rid of her, maybe one day in 20 or 30 years from nowwhen everything goes electric I can restore her, just like theyre doin now on classic muscle cars

RE: NEW redesigned MUSTANG spotted!!!! Real thing
There are a couple things I would like to see updated on my 06.
Firstly they need to make an 18" bullitt wheel that fills out the fenders to clear the shelby brakes without using spacers or those mediocre shelby gt500 wheels.
The car needs a little more engine with the same approx 3500 lbs or so.
Front is fine but facia could drop a bit lower. Ride height is done to make the car practical and I agree with their choice, but they should offer a sports package with a lower height, 18" wheels, stiffer shocks and sway bars, more sensitive steering and throttle, and shelby brakes. Offer that for a few grand extra and people would buy it. Make the thing a real M3 eater for 31K dollars.
Back of the car could use a bit more styling. Front is pretty much fine except shave the damn antenna and maybe offer a different side mirror (maybe).
After seeing a new Gt500 upclose and in person, ford needs to ditch black plastic and vinyl stripes and get with it. Car looks somehow cheaper and crappier than the GT that was sitting next to it. Wheels are kinda so so. Interior is a stripped bland sea of plastic compared to a GT. Car is definatly too heavy and a weight distribution nightmare. Ford needs to come back to reality and make a light car with a nice NA 500hp engine that doesent weigh a ton. I mean come on, the thing is currently a full 500lbs heavier than my GT and the GT500 already has the spare and jack removed. That is really disheartning because saying a jack and spare weigh about 60 lbs, the Gt500 is pushing 600 lbs heavier all in the nose!!!! Stick 3 average build guys on the hood of your GT and see how it feels.
Thats my take, but they will screw it up, I promise.
