Why not to buy a rental anything 
They charge you the same as if you bought it new because it has "all the maintenance records" but you don't know how much crap it had kicked out of it.

Lol.. looks like fun.. all it really was though was a bunch of burning out and some spinning in a parking lot.. granted I wouldnt want to buy a car that had been burnt out like that by everyone who drove it but burning some rubber every now and then isnt that bad.

It's a rental. This is code of law. You are to expect this because everybody does it. They did nothing that most of us wouldn't have done. So I don't have any ill will towards them.

I don't think that was the hood. I would bet that it was simply smoke from the driver side rear tire going forward and rising by the hood.
It could be from engine but I'm doubting it.
