Calipers... Can I get them painted?

Calipers... Can I get them painted?
I want Vista Blue calipers on my '06 Coupe BUT I don't want to paint them myself (many reasons). I'd really like to buy a set pre-painted and have them installed. I prefer the actual Vista Blue Metallic paint to match my car rather than another blue that is almost a match....
Is this a fairy tale? Is there a place out there somewhere that does this? Or anyone in my area (DFW/TX) willing to paint mine for me for a reasonable fee?

Torch is right, you can get it done if you're willing to pay enough money, but it's going to be a BIG hurdle. There are various issues to contend with:
Brake calipers get hot. Therefore you can't use the same kind of paint you would for the car body. While that might be OK for a show car, it's not appropriate for something that is actually driven. If you paint the calipers with "body paint" it will melt/burn off once you do some hard or repetative braking.
Your chance of finding "metallic" caliper paint is nil.
My advice? Find a blue caliper paint that is close in color. Calipers get dirty with road grime and brake dust very quickly anyway, so the difference will not be noticeable.

You can probably actually find a custom body shop that does alot of custom work and under hood dress up (usually hot rod shops, airbrush artists, custom shops) that would be able to mix up a custom high temperature matching paint. Its probably not going to be too cheap, but its not impossible. Let us know what you decide and post some pics up!

Ask around at Harry's Hot Rod or perhaps even Two Wheel World. Actually, Two Wheel World might be a better choice. They have their own in house chrome shop, and also sub out quite a bit of powder coating.

www.mossmustang.com sells caliper paint in mustang colors. I don't know if they have vista blue, but they have a great range of colors. I know you don't want to do it yourself, but it's really not that hard.
