Which Stang Would You Buy?
Hello all!
Ok I have narrowed it down to 3 cars and will be buying one of them in the next couple of days.
These are all wildly different cars, which is kind of the way my wife and I live our lives.
Totally non conformists!
We loved all three of these cars.
1. 2003 GT Vert black, every option and a centenial edition. Car is mint, one mature owner who took immaculate care of it.
I drove it and it was very smooth, but has the typical minor dash rattle for cars of this vintage. The car looks and drives brand new.
Lot's of power, great exhaust sound and plenty of torque.
Here is a link to the Centenial Edition cause I didn't know what it was at first:

I can get this car for $16,800 before tax.
2. 2005 Mustang GT Windveil blue with only 3k miles. Again a mature owner who traded it for a 2006 vert and took care of it as well.
Tons of power in this one and a great exhaust tone, very similar to the 2003 as far as exhaust sound is concerned but smoother.
I can get this one for 23,900 before tax.
3. Brand new 2007 V6 coupe in white Pony package/IUP/Antilock/heated seats/side airbags etc.
Drives very similar to the GT, very tight suspension. It didn't feel as fast as the 2003 on the butt dyno
but still had plenty of power.
I can get this one for $23,100.
I'm looking for the best overall car for the money so consider the price as well.
So which one would you buy and why?
Again thanks for your help!

RE: Which Stang Would You Buy?
You must want the 05 GT you are on the wrong forum if you want unbiased opinions. Definitely get the 05 if you want a car that is fun to drive and is very comfortable to ride in the S197 GT is the way to go. There is no previous model Mustang that can compare in comfort. I almost bought a 04 GT I did not think my wife would go for the 05 because everybody was selling the 05 that could be found at or above MSRP so I took the 04 home about a 45 minute drive. When I bought her back to the dealership she wanted to take a test drive in the only 05 GT they had we never looked back at the 04 it was a day and night difference in the ride.

Of the choices the 05 is head and shoulders above the other two. Not to dis my fellow Mustang owners but neither the 03 or the 07 in this list compare for differnt reasons.
My order for this list would be 05, 03, 07 with the 03 being closer to the 05 then how close it is to the 07. Not raggin on the V6 (to much) but boy do they need some more power... At best on the highway our V6 gets only got 2 MPG better then our GT, but the GT is was much more fun to drive. (BSC= before supercharger) Now w/ the S/C it's not comparable the fun factor that is! The 03 appears to be a nice car and for almost $10K less it is. That is why I picked it second.

RE: Which Stang Would You Buy?
is your reasons for the vehicle the overall price or the payments you can get out of it ?i never look at overall price but focus on what my payment would be and what i can get to get that payment. i bought an 06 vista blue manual gt premium package with alot of options its on 400 a month i put zero down and added to 5 year 100,000 mile warranty and gap insurance. i did the zero percent financing offer ford has on all 06s, that is the best choice of all. IMHO.tht deal is still on so i would hit a ford lot soon the picking are slim i called 19 dealers before i found mine on sept. 5th 06
